The 2009 NYSC Songwriting Contest
has over $25,000 in cash and prizes
and more great music than ever before! With the most recent success of
past winners Kate Voegele, Company Of Thieves and Mieka Pauley,
NYSC is looking for your help in discovering the best young songwriters
out there today.
The Young Songwriter Award was launched in 2007 and is dedicated to support
and showcase one great young songwriter (under 18) and help launch their
music carreer (as well as provide them with a $1000 Cash prize). The NYSC team
have selected the top three finalists but FFG members will vote to determine
the winner.
The winner of the Young Songwriter Award will be announced at the live finals
of the 2009 Songwriting Contest to be held at Bitter End in New York City
on November 18th and 19th, 2009 - 8 PM. For more information please visit
