7:00 flew by and David did arrive as I put on my make-up he came inside and unfortunately met my dad, because I didn't want him to get my dad
upset by telling him he was my date to the prom I hurried up and ran down stairs, my dress was long and flowing, light blue and strapless, my hair
was curled and going down with no hair bands, my nails were painted blue and my shoes were high-heals strapped and classy, my eyelashes
were full and moved up and down gorgeously as I battered my eyes to look shy, I had on my mom's favorite earring's which was her hoops.
As I took a few steps down I stopped so David could take a look at me. " How do I look? " " Uh ... uhhh ... " I laughed as I watched him gaze
at me as If I was an amazing work of art hung up in a museum. He finally found the right words to say " Gorgeous! " As I came down the stairs
dad tried to embarrass me " OK listen boy you don't touch her ANYWHERE! Got it " " Yes, sir " David said as I rushed out the door.
" Sorry about my dad " " It's OK " I smiled at him because he felt so perfect and as a result he smiled back as we walked to his car. I felt calm
and relaxed on our way to school he put his hand around me, I felt attached to him lovingly.

When we got there the gym was packed, shyly I stayed with David, the song changed and everyone was slow dancing, as I watched, David led
me to the dance floor our eyes connected and I felt like I was in heaven. As we danced we got closer and closer until we kissed. It was amazing
I thought I would faint. As the night passed I never wanted the night to end but unfortunate it had to end. The next day I felt so confident, I got
dresses and went to school. I saw David at the parking lot so I went over " Hey that was fun last night " " Ya it was so um would you like to
go to get some ice cream with me later on today? " I went into shock " Uhh ... sure. " We both smiled and then it all was clear that he does like
me!!!

As the sun fell I was in a hurry to get home and write in my diary what happened on my first day in high school, when the bell rang I was the first 1
out of school grounds and off to Target, I went to target every Monday because that was when I did laundry and went to spend my money I got
from working at the 99 cents store. As I searched my list to see what I needed I could tell I was being watched but I didn't care who was watching
me so I didn't turn around.
1. Clorox
2. Stain stick
3. Gum
4. Tooth paste
5. Mini notebook
6. Printing paper
As I checked my list and grabbed all the things I needed I turned around and accidentally crashed into someone, as I got up and starred at the
floor I shouted " Watch it " " So sorry " His voice sounded familiar, I looked up to see David smiling like he just saw god. " Oh sorry " I said " No
problem " He replied as if he was happy we crashed into each other. He helped me pick it up, " So what are you doing here " " I need some things
for my house what about you? " I work here. " " Oh " " Hey I didn't really catch you're name " " Oh ya, It's Cassie. " " Cassie nice name. "
" Thanks. " " Well I gotta get home. " I walked to the cashier and paid for all the things I bought, then walked all the way home with my hands full of
bags. " I feel so stupid how I just crashed into him " That was all that ran threw my mind till I got home to write it all in my diary.

As I woke up in the morning the next day all I could think about was David, how he smiled every time he saw me, how he was so nice to me,
the same image ran threw my head when he helped me pick up my books in school yesterday. As it ran threw my head a million time over and
over my alarm clock rang " How could it be morning already? How am I going to stay awake in class today I didn't sleep at all last night and I could
feel my eye lids dropping every 2 seconds, but I couldn't take my mind off David. As I tried to take 2 mins off of David and get dressed, I had to
roll-off the bed and onto the floor just to get up and even then I couldn't move, as I screamed because it hurt so much my dad ran into my room
with a baseball bat, and not just any baseball bat his lucky baseball bat that he only used when their was a burglary in our house.
" What's wrong? " Dad asked. " Nothing dad I'm just ti- - - " I was cut-off because someone rang the doorbell. Dad ran to the door bell and started
to whisper to whoever was at the doorbell, As I got up on put on my bra and tee-shirt, and changed my pants to blue jeans.
" Who was that dad? " " Oh it was just a friend." "Jake? " " No. " " Brad " " No no, just go get ready for school. " As I drove to school I wondered
what that was all about, but my mind didn't stay on that topic for long because all I could think about was David, It was like If I couldn't live with out
him. I didn't remember what I stayed up thinking about but 1 thing, my only thought from that moment was the only thing I could remember from
last night. Now I had to admit I had a crush because the only thought I could remember was me and David on a date, but the best part of it was
he kissed me, at least in my imagination he did. Me and David had 3 classes together which is why I got an F+ on my first assignments in
Chemistry, Science, and French class, other then that David was all I thought about.

Friday was my first prom of the year and I had no date or dress, so as I freaked out on if I should go someone was standing next to me, I turned
around and saw David " Hey " " Hey " I replied. " So I was wondering if you don't have anything to do Friday maybe you'd want to go to the prom
with me? " Could this be reality or just another dream I dreamt up in French class " Ya sure " I answered. " Great, so pick you up at 7? " " Sure "
As he left I turned around and dreamed of what would happen, just as I did I thought of something even more important then what to wear. What if
he kisses me? What if he just feels bad for me and that's why he asked me to prom? What if he was just planning a prank for me? I was having a
major crisis and I only had 2 days to figure out what to do. I like him! I do I really do, so I should go! No, he might just ditch me! Oh but he's so
cute! What if he's just using me to get another girl jealous after all he does have a fan club!!! Oh what am I going to do? That question ran threw
my mind every second of the day. By the next day I decided I would go and take a chance, and if it doesn't go well I can always ask dad if I can
transfer again, though he might not do it because I just came to this school, actually it wasn't my choice I was kicked out for fighting with another
girl because she was always saying she was better then me at everything, even though I won the fight I got in even more trouble then her because
I gave her a bloody nose. After school I went to dresses 101 which was my mom's favorite store, It had all sorts of dresses short, long, pink, blue,
purple, strapless, and 1 straps. I bought the cutest dress I could find and ran home to try it on, I found my dream dress.

After I found my locker I tried opening it with the combination Ms. Judy gave me before I left, As I put in my books a girl in a short pink dress with
a velvet dark pink belt and light pink sandles on, black hair flowed down to her elbow. " I know you're new so let me make it clear you don't look at
David, you don't touch him, you don't even breath the same air as him got it? " " First of all I don't even like him so back off " As I finished I turned
away and started piling up my books, "Ugh" As she walked away she saw my backpack and in a angry rage she threw out all my things in front of
David, As she laughed while walking away I sat down and picked up my books David sat down and helped me pick up my books. " Sorry about
Macy she has a temper. " " Oh ya it's fine" As he picked up the last book on the floor he got up and gave it to me, our eyes connected for a second
Everything went slow as if time had stopped. As we took our last second starring at each other the bell rang " Thank." He smiled and walked
towards a boy with a hat, and a shirt that said Boyz rule. As I starred at him walking away I knew one thing he was tottally the most sweetest guy
I've ever met.

As I rushed towards my first class I breathed heavily I walked in to see a classroom with at least 60 students, " Oh yes you must be Cassie ok
class meet you're new classmate Cassie. " With a great big gulp I walked towards an empty seat in the back. As I unpacked the entire class was
watching me like a mouse being watched by 60 hawks. As desperate as I'd ever been I pleated that time would freeze or that I would just
dissapear. After 1 min David walked in " Late again Mister. Haraz. " As I watched a group of girls sighed at the relief of him walking in.
He came to the back and saw me he sat down on the seat nearest to me. As class began and my new teacher who never told me his name began
to talk about chemistry.

Some days are amazing, like when you take you're first steps as a baby? Some days are horrible. Well for me It's never amazing or
horrible, I guess you can say it's okay? Some days are better then others for me. My family is sort of hard to explain see my mom passed away
when I was 7, and my dad is a workaholic, My younger brother never speaks to anyone, Since my dad is never around It's like I don't even have a
dad, and when he is home he doesn't even talk to me like I did something wrong and he's upset with me. Anyways as I was saying I'm starting my
first day of high school at Lake ridge high.

As I got to my new school I took a left and parked my brand new motorcycle near a black porch, As I took off my helmet a boy with black hair and
blue eyes wearing a leather jacket with jeans and Sketcher shoes walked out of his car, and took 1 look at me and walked away towards the
school. At that exact moment I got up and walked to my new school slowly, As I walked in I saw at least 100 other people. As I took my first steps
I heard silence in the hallway. As I took in a breath of fresh air I kept walking, silence grew until I finally reached the office across the hallway.
Opening the door I felt all eyes glued to me, I heard whispering but I didn't dare to turn around. I walked in and saw a red-head curly haired girl
with reading glasses, a vest and a long jean skirt, I walked forward and said " Hi, I'm Cassie Boyce I'm new here and I'd like to know were my
locker is? " The lady replied " Oh yes here you are, I'm Ms.- - - " Just then the same guy I saw in the parking lot came in, with a girl older then
anyone in the room. They walked to the nearest door and went inside. " Ugh that boy." " Who is he? " I said. " His name is David, he's probably the
most troubled person in this entire school." "Why would you say that? " " Well his parents are divorced and he's an only child."
Could this be true, someone who finally understands me? At that moment only 1 thing ran threw my mind Someone that understands me?
" So you wanted to know where you're locker is? " Oh ya " " Ok just take a left down the hall till the last locker near the girl's restroom." " Thank
you " No problem, by the way I'm Ms. Judy. "
